The Folk club at the White Horse was started some years ago by Erik Bellamy and John McDonald, and ran for several years. John moved to pastures new and for a few more years Keith Phelpstead ran the club with Erik. Unfortunately the pub closed for nearly two years but it was bought by some people who lived in the village who decided to reopen it.

They not only decided to reopen the pub, but the derelict outbuilding in the picture on the right was turned into a village shop and a function room upstairs. We discovered that the room's acoustics were perfect for singing and so we use it to host the occasional guest night at the club, plus our "All at Seagrave" mini-festival that we now hold annually on the early May bank holiday weekend.

Our guests so far have been Paul Metsers, Kim Lowings and the Greenwood, Phil Riley, John Montague and Steve Cartwright.

The pub serves excellent food and is a well appreciated asset to the village..
